Healthy Lifestyle Classes

Every week, you’ll find a variety of classes on our calendar that are designed to improve your health and quality of life. Whether you want learn to stretch and strengthen, relax and unwind, eat more nutritiously, or simply get out of the house and connect with others, you are sure to find there’s a class just right for you and your loved ones.

A variety of nutrition and cooking experts visit CSC monthly to teach you how to incorporate healthy and delicious dishes into your diet. Recipes and taste samples are always provided. Registration is requested – please call (513) 791-4060 to reserve your seat.

A group that explores different ways of unlocking the meaning of your dreams and puts them to work for you.
1st Saturday of every month, 9:30am - 10:30am
A fun movement program to help cancer survivors reduce or prevent lymphedema and increase their range of motion - all while lifting their spirits!

Holistic Self-Care Methods – 2nd and 4th Thursday 6:00 pm -7:00 pm (Ft Wright) Find empowerment through guided imagery, visualization, and relaxation techniques
2nd Tuesday 1:00 pm-2:30 pm (Blue Ash) Mindfulness Meditation is about wakefulness : the art of paying attention to what we think, feel, and experience in a way that helps us regain a sense of control. RSVP by calling 513-791-4060.
This movement program is especially designed for the side effects of cancer treatment such as fatigue, joint pain, lymphedema, neuropathy/balance issues, and reduced range of motion. It is endorsed by leading oncologists, psychologists, surgeons and exercise experts.

Improve your body awareness, posture, flexibility and agility in this refreshing mind-body workout.

Low-impact strengthening and flexibility fitness class, emphasizing balance, core and functional training.
Monday 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm Ft. Wright Facility – Room 930
Guided meditation to help you learn to focus, relax your mind and body, reduce pain and anxiety, and strengthen your immune system.
Thursday 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm Blue Ash Facility
Ancient Chinese movements and meditation to calm the mind, improve balance, and strengthen the immune system.

Yoga :

Enjoy a gentle class featuring stretching, toning, breathing and relaxation. As a bonus, yoga strengthens the immune system and bones. No experience or flexibility is needed. Mats are provided.

This yoga practice is performed seated in a chair! Warm up the body safely and practice yoga poses with more support and stability. Beginners welcome!

Based on a scientific fact that the body cannot differentiate between fake and real laughter, laughter Yoga provides the same physiological and psychological benefits as genuine laughter.

Restorative Yoga is a gentle, relaxing practice that provides an effective way to: reduce stress, manage treatment side effects, relieve pain, regain health and attain peace of mind.

Water aerobics to build strength and stamina, and manage lymphedema. Class size is limited to 10 with priority given to those at risk for lymphedema. Pre-registration and participation waiver are required – call (513) 791-4060.
